Last Stop on Vaca - Las Vegas

On Saturday, we left Idaho and started the long trek south. The last stop for vacation was Las Vegas. We stayed at the South Point, one of the new resorts on the south side of Las Vegas. It was pretty nice, though I missed being in one of the huge hotels.
Sunday we went to the
We still went and explored the strip on Monday night though. We decided we wanted to see the pirates show in front of Treasure Island and the water show at the Bellagio so we started our 4 mile round trip trek. The water show was nice, Russell had never seen it before so he thought it was really cool. Then we made it to Treasure Island...and for those who don't know, it is no longer a pirates show. It is called the "Sirens of TI" and features a large amount of scantily clad women lip syncing to terrible songs with even worse dance moves. I could hear Russell giggling behind me the entire time. I was shocked that they could have this show where children could see it...just mind boggling where the world is headed.

Idaho Portion of our Vacation

We didn't get a lot of photos of the Idaho portion of our vacation. The main reason that we went was because my Uncle and Aunt had adopted 3 kids that they had been fostering and were being sealed to them in the Twin Falls Temple. It was amazing and beautiful and I am so happy that we were able to be there to love and support them. While we were there we went to the hot springs, went spelunking, saw Idaho Falls, had fun on the trampoline, AND.....I got to pet a cow!!! Here are just some of the photos of our fun trip!

I was nervous to pet this cow, it had just gone after Richie.

Scott was having a little too much fun on the trampoline. Richie too.

In front of Idaho Falls. My friend Charlotte grew up right near here.

Scott and I inside of a lava cone that is part of a large volcano in Idaho.

My cousin and I on top of one of the lava tubes we were exploring.

Sariah and I on our way into one of the caves. It didn't lead anywhere and got too small to even crawl in at the back.

On my way out from another cave. This one we were able to get all the way out, though we had to crawl at one point.

My dad, Rosie (my sis), Russell (my bro), and my new little cousin Jessica.
We had a great time in Idaho. It was a wonderful time spent with family we haven't seen in a while.

Vacation Day 4

Tuesday we got up and got packed and ready to head to Idaho. We were so grateful to Bri and Greg for letting us stay with them. We met my family in Salt Lake City to get Russell out of their car and take him to see Temple Square. We took the tour the sister missionaries gave, walked around a bit more, and then hopped on the freeway to Idaho. We arrived in Buhl around 4 pm, greeted everyone, and then hit the hay. It had been a long day of driving.
