One of my best friends, Jessica, got married on October 4. She and I have been in school together since the 8th grade. We both went to the University of Redlands and were both Math majors so we had at least 1 class together every term. She married Kevin Sharp, a great guy that she has been with for a while. Scott and I were so excited to share in their big day! Jessica was beautiful and Kevin looked great.
We're a happy family with 2 dogs, 2 snakes, 1 bearded dragon, and any other animals that wander our way.

Camping
In August, Scott and I went camping with our friends Mike and Arthur. We went into the mountains above Idyllwild and drive through too many winding roads for my liking to get to our campsite.

This was our tent and our campfire. We had fun on Friday night just talking and playing games. We built a ring of logs around our fire, though by the end of Saturday they were all gone :) The highlight of the trip was almost getting in trouble with a volunteer forest ranger. Scott insisted that he wanted to cut down a tree, even though we were in the San Bernardino National Forest and we knew it was not allowed. Scott, with the help of Mike, managed to chop almost all the way through, before the forest ranger that we had seen earlier finally noticed what they were doing. The ranger attempted to call a real forest ranger to get the tree down correctly and to give us a citation or some kind of penalty. Lucky for us, he couldn't get ahold of anyone. We got away free and clear, at least we think. Who knows, in a couple years the CIA may invade our home and arrest Scott for almost chopping down a tree ;)

Aquarium of the Pacific

One Saturday that Scott and I were both off, we decided to go to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. We took Russell with us and did the behind the scenes tour.

It was way fun and cool. We got to pet Sharks and hold Lorikeets. The tour was really interesting. We got to feed the fish in the large fish tanks and see where the divers get changed into their gear to go and clean the tanks.
I really liked the puffins and the seals, the seal show was the best show we saw all day. After we left the aquarium we went to the beach in
Huntington and had fun in the waves. It was a really great day.
We love our Dogs!!!
We currently have 3 dogs: Frederico, Santa, and Sammy. Frederico is a 4 year old black and white chihuahua, Santa is a 3 year old tan dachshund mix, and Sammy is a 6 month old tan terrier. We got Frederico from a humane society at Petco in Corona in October 2006. We had been fostering him during the week and taking him there on the weekends in the hope that someone would adopt him. But I fell in love and couldn't let him go. We had to have Katie and Jesse adopt him for us because our apartment's official stance on dogs was no dogs, but our manager had said yes to Frederico, so we were sneaky and got him that way. Santa was my Christmas present in 2006. He was very sick at first and I didn't like him, but he is a very obedient and calm dog. He fits right in now. Sammy was a stray that my boss Kate found near a repossessed home in early June. She took him to the vet and got him healthy but then wasn't able to keep him in her apartment or at her parent's house. I was afraid they would take him to the pound (the pound makes me cry everytime) so I had to do something. We live with my parents right now so I had to ask them. I told them that we would just be fostering him for a while, but I think that they have accepted that he is not going anywhere.
Anyways, those are our puppies. I love them lots!!!
