Christmas Card Doggie Photos

Trying to get a good photo of 4 dogs at once is not an easy task. First we tried in front of the fire place.

Sammy just couldn't seem to understand that we wanted all of them to look this way...

And again....

Finally he kinda gets it!

But we thought that this one was the winner for sure! Its just too cute.

Forest Falls Adventure

Saturday came and it was rainy! Scott and I wanted to get out and about so we went for a spur of the moment adventure in the Jeep. We ended up in Forest Falls, next to a creek. The scenery was beautiful.

You'll notice the bag in my hand...it was our survival kit. 6 Clementine oranges (courtesy of John, Leisa, and Kate, Thanks!) and 2 Powerades that we got on our way up to the mountains.

We liked this photo so much that it is now our Christmas card.

Our prettiest rock contest. Scott went for big and bold. I went for small and subtle. I think I won, though Scott did not agree.
We had a great time hiking around and taking in the beauty. I love Scott and the wonderful time that I get to spend with him and all of his craziness.
He is the lighthouse in the sea of my life.

The IMS show

This past weekend, we went to the International Motorcycle Show with the Johnsons. We went down on Friday night so that we could go to the Shark Summer Nights event at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. There was a live band and the shark petting pools were open. After that we went to Famous Daves on the beach, we ordered the feast and split it between us. It was an incredible amount of food. It was a fun evening and we enjoyed being able to hang out with Travis and Janele. Saturday was the day we were going to the show. It was a lot of fun. Janele and I test rode the Can-Am Spyders (2 wheels in front, 1 in back) and the guys test rode Victory motocycles and the Spyders as well. Here are some highlights :)

Janele and I getting our lesson on how to drive the Spyders (you don't have to have a motorcycle license to ride them)

Scott and I on our Victory Hammer test ride, it was intense. The backseat was so small that I was basically sitting on Scott. I was too afraid to take my arms off of him during the whole ride. He didn't have a problem with that!

Scott on a Ducati 1098 streetfighter bike. He especially loved all of the Ducati displays.

Me on a cute pink scooter designed to look like a chopper.

We had a great time and really enjoyed the chance to get away for a bit.

Introducing...Coco Noelle Bagley

My sister had her baby October 29. It was amazing to be there with her and support her through the whole event. The wonderful result of all the hard work was a beautiful baby girl born at 6 am.

She was had a massive amount of hair and was very light skinned (the father, James, is white and Rosie has skin a little lighter than mine, but we thought she would come out just a little more tinted :) )
From the beginning of her pregnancy, Rosie knew that this beautiful baby was not meant for her, and with that attitude, she set out to find adoptive parents. She (with some help from our family) decided on Andrew and Reachel Bagley, a wonderful couple from AZ who up to this point have not been able to have children of their own. We all met them for the first time at the hospital around 4 pm on October 30. The gratitude and love that they expressed was moving. They were sooooo excited.

All of us together

This is her, Coco Noelle Bagley, at the hospital and dressed for her first Sunday.

We love her and the Bagleys so much. I am grateful for Rosie and the strength that she had to see this through to the end. I am so happy for Andrew and Reachel!!!!
