Charlotte & Justin

My best friend Charlotte got engaged on Thanksgiving last year. She called me while I was at Scott's family's dinner and I had to run outside so that I could scream for joy.
A little background...Charlotte moved to Yucaipa from Idaho when we were in the 5 th grade. We started hanging out in the 7th grade and have been friends ever since. Charlotte moved to Tempe, Arizona in 2007 for school and a little change. It is in Tempe that she met her husband, Justin Heyer. Charlotte had always been so picky and "exclusive" when it came to dating in high school that I didn't think that she would find anyone who met all of her requirements when it came time to find a husband. But, she found Justin who met every one of her requirements besides the height (she wanted someone a lot taller than her, he's maybe 3 inches taller). They are perfect together. When I met Justin, it was like meeting a boy version of Charlotte. I am so exited for her.

Snow Day!!!

We woke up the morning of January 22nd and found snow all over the ground. It was probably the most snow we've had in 3 years in Yucaipa. We played and frolicked until it was light outside so that we could make it to work semi safely. It was a lot of fun and a good reason to be into work a little late that day.

Our beautiful trees covered in snow.

Scott beginning to clear off our car.

Finally done...15 minutes later.

Christmas Time

Christmas was a lot of fun. I love it because we get together with all of our family and have a great time.

Christmas for our dogs consisted of handfuls of dog treats being thrown out the window of the back door. As far as I could tell, they loved it.

Scott and I spent the morning with my family and the afternoon with his. Our morning with my family was nice. We had breakfast and then opened presents.

Christmas dinner with Scott's family was great. His two sisters and one of his brothers came to his parents house.
In Corona there is a street where the people go all out with their decorations so we drove through that neighborhood as well.

It was a great Christmas!

Playing Catch-up

Well it's April 4th and I haven't posted a single thing this year. There has been a lot going on but I just haven't had the time to sit and post. So...I am catching up today. Hopefully from Christmas to the present.
